Oh, right — a Game Boy. That beloved handheld gaming device from the ’90s used to play Pokemon Blue.
For Millennials, Game Boys aren’t completely out of sight and mind. But present-day kids examine this large, clunky box like it’s some sort of fossil in a natural history museum.
In their latest investigation of humans reacting to tech, The Fine Bros talk to some kids who may have you reevaluating why you fell in love with a device that you couldn’t even fit in your pocket, and required an endless supply of batteries to maintain.
Just remember: Those batteries fueled a prehistoric piece of technology that was kind of like the “Grandfather of Everything” — it paved the way for so many gaming devices and mobile apps that kids enjoy today.
And that’s a reason to be appreciative.
